Our Community

With the natural change in seasons and being centrally located to expore the gorgeous Sierra's, our town also has a strong community that sets us apart from other cities. We are people who find ways to support and improve our local businesses, schools, homeless, veterans and healthcare services. With a population of over 235,000, Reno is the largest city in Northern Nevada.
Reno and the surrounding areas provide unlimited indoor and outdoor recreational activities. We have excellent weather and an International Airport. Located in the southern part of Washoe County, nestled on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in an area called the Truckee Meadows. Spectacular Lake Tahoe and the largest concentration of ski facilities in the world are all within a fifty-mile radius. Biking, camping, hunting, fishing and mountain climbing are all activities Reno residents and visitors enjoy. Northern Nevada Trails
Our town's economy is principally based in the trade and service sector, with approximately 65% of the work force employed in these occupations. Although gaming and other recreational activities represent a significant portion of the growing economy and assessed valuation, the city is experiencing gradual diversification of its business base with the expansion of distribution, warehousing, and manufacturing facilities. Our town is a very friendly-business state and Tesla, Apple, Google, Switch, Panasonic are just a few to prove.
